Deborah Kernan is an accomplished defense attorney with more than 24 years of experience practicing criminal law.

Born in San Antonio, Deborah was raised and educated in the State of Texas. She began her career in criminal law in 1993 as a prosecutor in the District Attorney’s Office in Tarrant County. Deborah left the District Attorney’s Office in 1997 to establish the Kernan Law Firm, focusing exclusively on criminal defense.

Deborah has immense courtroom experience, having taken more than 100 cases to trial, most of them in Parker County. Deborah’s vast experience makes her a highly effective DWI lawyer. Her experience brings rigorous advocacy, meticulous preparation, and strategic and innovative thinking.
